Father and Son Backpacking Trip

A new spin on a WAHM tradition: Father and Son Backpacking to Marvine Lakes.  This backpacking and fishing trip is for men and young men.  Bring your son(s) and join us for a mountain top adventure!

Not just a trip to the mountains, this is a trip to connect with your son, and for both of you to grow in your relationship with God.  A morning and evening prayer and study time will present the men, both young and old, with a challenge and followup for the day.

This trip is open to all men, and we are encouraging fathers and sons to come on this trip.  The minimum age for sons is subjective.  The youngest we've taken in the past is nine years old.  The trip is a challenge at about 6 miles of trail (about 4.5 hours hiking time) and three nights on the mountain - so take that into consideration.  No pets, please.

The trip is free - but you are responsible for your own gear and meals.  We are working on arrangements for loaner and/or rental gear for those who need it.  Pricing will be available soon.

Gear and prep information will be available soon! We will have a prep meeting or two prior to the trip to help make the trip a success.
