What an awesome August camp with so many men of all ages and backgrounds coming together as one heart. These camps are truly life-changing. For those who haven't been, it is a "must" in order to take that next giant leap in your relationship with God. For those who can think of several other men who need to experience the Holy Spirit, get 'em there. A message that got thru to me during this last camp was I need to be more aware of vows or agreements I've made in the past without God's involvement. Then as I was reviewing a section of the Walking with God book, it pointed out that same thing. I need to ask for God's forgiveness and retract those agreements that I made that did not include God. Have I tried too many times to do things on my own? Have I made assumptions that God won't heal me or my loved ones from sickness? Or, have I made financial decisions because I have doubts that God will rescue me from failings? It's my own doubt, pride, and human greed that prevents me from experiencing the full power of God's spirit. Jesus, you are my counselor, my physician, my financial adviser. Thank you.
